Leveraging Social Networking Tools to Get Your Message Out and Increase SupportersFacilitating Organization and Name of Facilitator: Catherine Wright-Dilbert Location: Jones Center for Families, Springdale, AR Day of Week, Date, and Time: Wednesdays, March 31st, April 7, 14, 21, 28, & May 5, 12; 8:30 – 10:00 AM Targeted Audience: Executive Directors, Development staff, Marketing and PR, board members interested in helping the nonprofit get its messages out to a wider audience. Program Description: This workshop is designed to take the mystery out of the world of social networking and help nonprofit executives, board members and marketing directors gain a better understanding of the most effective tools available, how and when to use them and how to prevent the tools from taking over the rest of your schedule. It will be hands-on so that you will be using the tools as you learn. At the end of the seven session workshop, you will have greater clarity regarding tools that will support your organization’s goals. You will create and/or update accounts on powerful social networking applications, promote your cause, create and share videos, a blog and at least one e-mail newsletter. You will develop a strategy for social networking that aligns with accomplishing your organization’s goals. Program Goals/Objectives/Outcomes:
